Murata Unveils World's Smallest 006003-Inch Chip Inductor at CES 2025
Murata has announced a groundbreaking achievement in component miniaturization: the world's smallest chip inductor in the 006003-inch class (0.16 mm x 0.08 mm). This innovative component represents a significant advancement, achieving a volume reduction of approximately 75% compared to the previous smallest size, the 008004-inch (0.25 mm x 0.125 mm). The unveiling took place at CES 2025, held from January 7-10 in Las Vegas, USA, at Murata’s booth in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (#6500).
The ongoing drive for enhanced functionality and miniaturization in electronic mobile devices has created a critical need for smaller, more efficient components.
